Started by the Paz family in 2001, San Vicente has helped coffee in the Santa Barbara region become world famous for outstanding quality. Fertile volcanic soil and a microclimate caused by Lake Yojoa provide a reputation for exceptional quality throughout the world. In 2014, Fidel Paz coordinated over 80 families in creating an organic and fair trade cooperative. The coop prides themselves in producing a high quality, sustainable product while assisting members in achieving their own sustainable success.
