This is the very best variety in all of Sumatra. Find a heavy, syrupy body, low acid, with notes of smoky baker's chocolate and molasses. This coffee can easily handle darker roasts that will also increase the smoky intensity.
KSU Sara Ate has been producing coffee in the Takengon region from a collective of 500 small farm owners since 2011. The group was given the name KSU Sara Ate meaning, "One Heart". Coffee farming in the Central Aceh supports more than 60% of all families in the region.
